The Joy of reading book The Secret

The Secret Book follows the format of the film The Secret very closely. The format of the book makes it very easy to read. The font type is large and graphics are used to highlight key information throughout.
The film The Secret was a hit with me. I know that there was a lot of criticism about the lack of practical information on how to use the Law of Attraction to manifest your desires. I personally disagreed with this point as the film clearly states that action is needed to be taken when opportunities are presented to you. The book follows the films format and structure. Lots of quotes are sprinkled throughout the book to provide inspiration to the reader and to reinforce what has just been read.
At the end of each chapter there is a Secret Summaries section which summarises the main points into bullet points for easy reference. This is great if you want to get the meat of the information very quickly. By skimming the summaries of each chapter you can go through the book in minutes.
Another great feature of The Secret book is the bios for the contributors at the back of the book. By visiting the websites of each of these gurus, the reader can get more specific information about the law of attraction.
My only personal disappointment with the book is that Abraham Hicks was not reintroduced to the book. Abraham who is channelled by Esther Hicks provided valuable information on the Law of Attraction in the original film. Since Abraham was taken out of the film I have always felt that the film has suffered for this, but this is only a minor point.
So in my personal opinion I believe that the book The Secret has a place in any personal development library. It has a high motivational factor and can be digested very easily.
